This 2014 Columbus Fifth Wheel is just over 37 feet long and 8 feet wide. It has a GVWR of 13,970 lbs and a hitch weight of 1,970 lbs. This model comes with automatic heating and cooling rated at 40,000 and 15,000 BTUs respectively. That means no matter the weather, the temperature stays just where you want it. The exterior of this fifth wheel is a base color of brown with red and grey accents for a very elegant appearance. This model also comes equipped with a 19-foot power-retractable awning and 3 power-retractable slides. The inside of this unit is just as elegant as the outside.
Starting with the back, we have the combined living and kitchen area. This area houses two slides, one on the left and one on the right. The left slide holds a convertible sleeper sofa and a free-standing dinette with four chairs. The room is sectioned off at the middle point by an L-shaped countertop. This counter has a built-in sink and an oven and stove combination. Over the counter is extra overhead storage cabinets, perfect for kitchen supplies. The back of the room is occupied by two twin recliners with end tables and overhead storage cabinets. The opposite wall of this room houses a refrigerator and extra storage space that sits flush with the slide when it is pulled in.
The next area is the connected master bedroom and bathroom. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink built into a cabinet with extra storage below. To the left side of the toilet is a linen closet for even more storage, as well as a medicine cabinet above the sink.
The last room is to the right of the master bathroom is the master bedroom. This room contains a slide that houses the queen-sized bed on the right wall. On either side of the bed is a nightstand tucked neatly into the slide. On the left wall, opposite the bed, is a dresser that also serves as a TV stand, in perfect view of the bed. On the far right wall is the walk-in closet. extra linen closet, and the washer and dryer area. Each of these is out of the way, both when the slide is retracted or extended.
